Street Charity cards are simply the most portable, practical, nonperishable, and cost-effective way to feed someone in the United States. Because Street Charity leverages fast-food restaurants to absorb many of the costs associated with providing meals, more donor dollars go directly toward feeding people in need. In Chicago for our daughter’s birthday, I gave four gift cards and some cash to two mothers who were on the street with their small children.
